Video Editor

Job Description:
I am seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to work with me and help bring the channels travel vlogs and adventures to life. My content primarily focuses on exploring unique destinations in a variety of countries, sharing travel adventures, and capturing the beauty of diverse cultures and incredible places all around the world. I plan to take the channel down a more epic adventure based route in the future and find more incredible experiences and stories. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and proficiency in Final Cut Pro X.

Responsibilities:
– Edit long form videos for YouTube, ensuring high-quality production, engaging narratives, and seamless transitions (1 per week plus shorts).
– Collaborate with me to understand the vision and desired outcome for each video.
– Cut and edit sections of videos for short-form platforms like Instagram and TikTok, adapting content to suit the style and audience of each platform.
– Add music, sound effects, graphics, and other elements to enhance the viewer’s experience.
– Ensure all video content is delivered on time and meets the required specifications.
– Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques and trends, particularly in the travel and adventure niches.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in Final Cut Pro X is a must.
– Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
– Creative mindset with the ability to tell compelling stories through video.
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
– Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in editing travel-related content.
– Knowledge of color correction, audio enhancement, and visual effects is preferred but not necessary.
– Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
