Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Time Video Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that aligns with our company’s objectives and brand image. Your role will involve editing and enhancing raw footage, incorporating visual effects, audio editing, and ensuring the final product meets our standards of excellence. This is a full-time position that requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for storytelling through video.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing: Utilize professional editing software and tools to edit and refine raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with the company’s creative vision.
Post-Production: Enhance video quality through color correction, audio editing, motion graphics, visual effects, and other techniques to deliver high-quality and visually appealing content.
Storytelling: Understand the intended message and story and effectively translate it into a cohesive and compelling visual narrative.
Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams, videographers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide creative input, and ensure video projects meet the desired objectives.
Organization and File Management: Maintain an organized file structure and effectively manage media assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval of project files.
Quality Control: Perform thorough reviews and quality checks of edited videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and new editing tools to enhance editing skills and contribute innovative ideas to improve video production processes.
Meeting Deadlines: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Asset Management: Maintain a library of video assets, templates, and project files for future use, ensuring efficient asset management and easy retrieval.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Editing, or a related field (preferred).
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
Proficient in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video editing techniques, principles, and best practices.
Experience with color grading, audio editing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and visual storytelling.
Familiarity with file formats, codecs, compression, and video optimization techniques.
Ability to handle constructive feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve the final product.
Portfolio of previous video editing work demonstrating technical skills and creative capabilities.
