Video Editor

E2W Inc. is looking for a Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the Client. The perfect person for this job is skilled in the craft of filmmaking, animation and understands all of the components of video production, including sound, music, visuals and point of view. He/She will be responsible for piercing together raw footage to create a unique and exciting story

Responsibilities::
Performing the full range of editing works from splicing, to sound balancing, to color correction and color grading.
Meet with clients to establish the desired vision for the video production to be created.
Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation
Create an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to clients and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter video
Ensure the production follows a logical sequence.
Consulting with the Client, Director, and production team throughout the project.
Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client’s specifications
Ensure all editing cuts, splices, changes and additions appear seamless and natural and help the story flow more effectively in the finished product.
Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
Adhere to voice and messaging specifications for animated pieces
Accurately use company branding assets (incl. Colors, fonts, etc.) to:
Develop completed and high-quality animations, in a timely manner
Develop expressive images and video for clients
Syncing visuals with audio and voiceover tracks
Preparing all animation elements for compositing, including delivering in set formats
Enhancing animation with special effects at the post-production stage

Requirements:
3-4 years of experience as a video editor
A graduate of Cinematography, Film studies or any related field
Professional mastery of editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid
Media composer, lightworks and premiere
Experience with 2D Vector & 3D composition and special effects is a MUST
Experience in using AI and voice over for videos
Experience in creating videos on instructional/educational tutorials
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with clients and the ability to bring them to life,
Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects.
Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top notch finalized products.
Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
