Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic content creation team. You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. This includes editing film and video footage, incorporating dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.

Responsibilities:

Edit and Assemble Content: Trim footage and put together the raw material into a logical sequence. Ensure the final product aligns with the outlined vision and is ready for broadcasting.
Enhance Video Quality: Apply various video enhancement techniques such as color correction, sound equalization, and other adjustments to achieve high-quality output.
Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to explore editing possibilities and creative ideas to visually represent narrative concepts effectively.
Incorporate Audiovisual Elements: Add music, sound effects, and visually appealing graphics to enrich the video content. Utilize transitions and effects to enhance the viewing experience.
Revisions and Feedback Implementation: Provide different versions of edits for review, make necessary revisions as per feedback, and finalize videos to meet the standards and formats required.
Video Library Management: Organize and maintain the video library, ensure all work is appropriately saved, archived, and backed up.
Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and trends. Suggest improvements to editing strategies and contribute innovative ideas for content creation.
Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience as a video editor with a solid portfolio, preferably with a focus on YouTube content creation.
Technical Skills: Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. Knowledge of motion graphics and After Effects is highly beneficial.
Creative Skills: Excellent sense of pacing, timing, and storytelling with a keen eye for detail. Ability to visualize the final product during the editing phase.
Efficiency and Discipline: Capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
