Video Editor

Are you a superstar video editor? Then we want YOU!

We are looking for a video editor to edit our longer YouTube videos, shorts and online course videos. We specialise in screenwriting, filmmaking and personal growth for creatives.
Later you could also work on our promo/ad videos and videos for our clients. We prefer working with clients that want to make the World a better place.

Your daily responsibilities would include:
1. Send a daily report
2. Edit videos for YouTube, TikTok, and online courses (not all in the same day)
3. Optional: creating thumbnails

To qualify for the position, you will need at least 1-year experience with video editing. Preferred with Adobe Premiere Pro.

We work in a fast-paced industry. So it’s really important that our VA would be:
* A fast learner
* Pays close attention to detail
* Follows instructions to the letter

Requirements:
1. Computer/laptop that is suitable for video editing
2. Reliable internet connection

In addition to having excellent English skills, you’ll need to use the applications we listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with most of them:
* Adobe Premiere Pro
* Adobe After Effects
* Canva
* Web search engines like Google
* Microsoft Word
* Gmail and other email applications
* Google Docs
* Google Calendar
* Communications apps like Viber, WhatsApp, Hangouts, FB messenger, etc
* Project management software (ClickUp, Google Docs)

We’re looking for someone who can grow with us and rise from the ranks. If you have the following skills, this can help you:
* Using Canva for Thumbnails

This is a part-time position, Mondays to Fridays, with flexible hours. But can quickly be changed to full-time if we both like working with each other.

The first 6 months are the probation period and then the salary goes up.
You will get 15 days of Paid Time Off per year. If you start work in June, you can use 7,5 days this year.
We honour most Filipino holidays and will discuss this in more detail during interviews.

Once you complete your 6 months probation, you will get:

You’ll be working directly with our CEO who started out as a video editor. As our business grows, you will have the option to go full-time with us and later lead the team of editors (if that is what you would like).
