Video Editor

As a Video Editor at Shownmedia, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual impact of our direct-to-consumer ad campaigns on platforms like TikTok and Meta. This position involves working closely with our creative team to edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the Creative Strategist’s vision and is suitable for advertising. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of editing software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively tell a story through video. You will be responsible for editing video content that is engaging, visually appealing, and on-brand, ensuring that it drives viewer engagement and meets the marketing objectives of our clients.

Duties:
– Edit video footage to create high-quality and engaging content
– Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives
– Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
– Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
– Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product
– Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

Requirements:
– Able to work in Eastern Time Zone.
– Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role – Proficient in using film editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite
– Strong understanding of post-production techniques including color grading, audio mixing, and typography
– Excellent attention to detail with a creative mind and storytelling skills
– Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
