We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our educational video production team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw footage and audio into engaging and visually appealing educational videos. Your primary responsibilities will include working with voice-over audio files, editing them to match the video content, incorporating relevant B-roll footage, and adding animations to enhance the overall viewing experience.

Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage and audio to create high-quality educational videos.
Collaborate closely with the content team to understand the video requirements and objectives.
Organize and assemble video footage, ensuring seamless transitions and logical sequencing.
Work with voice-over audio files, synchronizing them with the video content.
Enhance videos with appropriate B-roll footage, ensuring it aligns with the script and enhances the viewer’s understanding.
Add animations, text overlays, and visual effects to make the videos visually appealing and engaging.
Select and incorporate background music and sound effects to enhance the overall video quality.
Ensure that the video editing process is efficient, maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to project deadlines.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for improving video production processes and content.

Proven work experience as a Video Editor, showcasing an impressive portfolio of previous projects.
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video editing principles, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
Ability to work with voice-over audio files, synchronize them with video content, and maintain audio clarity.
Proficiency in incorporating B-roll footage to enhance video content and maintain viewer engagement.
Skilled in adding animations, text overlays, and visual effects to create captivating videos.

Familiarity with sound design, including selecting appropriate background music and sound effects.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency in the final product.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
