Video Editor

**WE ARE LOOKING FOR SKILLED SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEO EDITORS – Must have experience**
Applicant will become a part time/ full time video editor for Vincere Media LLC.
Our Clientele: Small – Large Business Owners, Real Estate, Podcasts, Start-Up Tech Companies and More…
Job Responsibilities Include:
– Upload (large) raw video files into editing software
– Use editing software to create quality, engaging content.
– Add captions. Follow our Project Manager’s instructions on font type, size, and location.
– Add transitions. Follow our Project Manager’s instructions on how many transitions to place, where to place them and adding your own creative touch (to be reviewed by project manager.)
– Add client logos, stock B-roll (provided by project manager) and text to pop up with a “call to action.”
– Upload to Project Manager’s Google Drive, or other uploading software. (May upload to client for direct changes)
– Review Project Manager’s notes and timely make changes to the edit.
– You will be expected to have the project completed and revisions corrected within 48 hours (2 days), for each project. The earlier, the better. (This is for short form – under 1 minute, 30 second videos).
– You will have 5 training sessions a week for the first 2 weeks of employment to ensure we can enhance your skills, identify weaknesses and learn new editing tips. (The first 2 weeks = “Trial Period”)
– After 2 weeks, you will have 1 training session per week – every Monday following.
– As you progress there will be opportunity for pay increases if work is improved and more projects are completed within the working timeframe.
– Applicant’s will need access to Zoom for a weekly meeting to discuss employment and how we can Improve together.
– We are looking for work 5 days a week (Monday – Friday), 6 hours a day. (HOURS MAY INCREASE WITH REQUEST and/or IMPROVEMENT)

Our next steps together – “Trial Period” :
– Non-paid Zoom introduction meeting required.
– Day 1 — (6 hours of work): You will download 2 raw project clips, complete the edit to your best ability (following the project instructions), and upload them to the Project Manager. While the project uploads, we will conduct our daily training. Training will either be a 1 hour “tutorial video” with 5 questions at the end, or it will be a zoom “follow along” training. The follow along will require you to have a phone or tablet (with access to Zoom), along with your computer on your editing software.
– We will repeat this every day (Monday – Friday) throughout the “Trial Period,” until the Friday of the 2nd week is over, which you will be evaluated and we’ll determine if we will move forward into future employment.
