Position: Video Editor

Responsibilities:

Edit long-form videos for YouTube, ensuring high-quality and engaging content that aligns with the channel’s vision.
Transform long-form videos into engaging shorts, understanding the nuances of storytelling within shorter formats.
Implement strategies for video optimization according to YouTube algorithms and best practices.
Manage the posting schedule for both long-form and shorts, maximizing viewership and engagement through strategic publishing.
Collaborate with the content creation team to enhance the overall quality and impact of our videos.
Stay updated on industry trends and YouTube algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing for YouTube content creation.
Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and best practices for audience engagement and growth.
Ability to transform long-form content into compelling shorts.
A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):

Experience in graphic design and motion graphics.
Knowledge of additional video platforms and their specific requirements (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels).
