We are seeking a talented and motivated Remote Video Editor to support our creative team during busy periods on an ad-hoc basis. As a Video Editor at Perspective Studios, you will play a crucial role in shaping the final look and feel of our video projects. You will work closely with our internal team members to transform raw footage into polished, impactful videos

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with our creative team and clients to understand project objectives and requirements.
– Edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging videos, ensuring a high level of visual quality and storytelling.
– Be willing to make necessary revisions to achieve the desired outcome.
– Select and integrate music, sound effects, graphics, and other visual elements to enhance the video’s impact.
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a Video Editor, showcasing a strong portfolio of previous work – particularly in the corporate/business video field.
– Proficiency in editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
– Solid understanding of video composition, colour theory, and visual storytelling.
– Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining effective communication with team members.
– Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
– Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual trends.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
– Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.

Requirements:

– High-speed internet connection and a well-equipped workstation to facilitate remote collaboration.
– Availability for virtual meetings and discussions during business hours in the United Kingdom.
