Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos that effectively communicate our brand message. This is a remote position based in India, offering the flexibility to work either full time or part time from home.

Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished and engaging videos, ensuring high-quality production standards.
Collaborate with the content creation team to understand the vision and objectives of each video project.
Trim, crop, and enhance videos to optimize visual appeal and storytelling impact.
Apply color correction, audio editing, and other post-production techniques to enhance video quality.
Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance visual elements and overall video production.
Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for video projects.
Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and incorporate them into the workflow.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them within given deadlines.
Review and provide feedback on videos to ensure they meet the desired quality standards.
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand target audience and optimize videos accordingly.
Maintain organized files and backups of video projects to ensure efficient retrieval and version control.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing your previous work.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and exporting settings for different platforms.
Creative mindset with the ability to think visually and translate ideas into compelling video content.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards throughout the editing process.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and incorporate feedback.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
Availability to work full time or part time, depending on the agreed schedule.
Should have high speed internet at home.
