Marketing By Monrae is seeking a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping our visual content to captivate and engage our audience effectively. Your primary responsibilities include reviewing, editing, and enhancing video content, working closely with our creative teams to bring their vision to life. Your expertise in delivering high-quality short-form videos will be instrumental in elevating our digital marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and meticulously edit short-form video content to meet established guidelines and client requirements.
Ensure the visual and narrative quality of each video is of the highest standard.
Collaborate with creative teams to understand the creative vision for each piece and translate it into compelling video content.
Edit and assemble raw footage, ensuring smooth transitions, visual consistency, and engaging storytelling.
Enhance video and audio quality, apply color correction, and optimize visual effects for short-form videos.
Work diligently to maintain an efficient turnaround for content delivery, meeting or exceeding project deadlines.
Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely execution.
Communicate proactively with team members to provide status updates and resolve any potential bottlenecks.
Collaborate closely with creative teams, including videographers, graphic designers, and content creators, to align video editing with the creative vision.
Participate in creative discussions and offer input to enhance the visual storytelling and impact of short-form videos.
Adapt to changes and feedback from the creative team to improve video content.
Conduct rigorous quality checks on edited videos to maintain high production standards.
Ensure that videos meet clients’ requirements, brand guidelines, and industry best practices.
Continuously strive to improve video quality and stay updated on the latest video editing techniques and trends.
Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrate proficiency in video editing software and tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in video editing software and techniques to optimize workflow and quality.
Professional Development: Participation in training and skill enhancement.
Team Collaboration: Effectiveness of collaboration over the year.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Editing, or related field.
Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of short-form projects.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Understanding of video production techniques, storytelling, and visual composition.
Knowledge of current video editing trends for social media platforms.
Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for storytelling.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills and collaboration with creative teams.
Problem-solving skills to address editing challenges.
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
Experience with working in a Digital Marketing Agency is a plus.
Familiarity with social media platforms and video requirements.
Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and improve editing skills.
