We are seeking an experienced Video Editor to lead our video production team and develop and implement video editing strategies to enhance our educational content and services.

Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand project objectives, messaging, and desired outcomes.
– Utilize your expertise in AI-driven video production tools, including but not limited to Synthesia and Doodle, to create visually engaging and compelling videos.
– Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into high-quality, polished videos that align with brand guidelines and project specifications.
– Implement cutting-edge AI techniques to enhance video content, such as deep learning-based facial animation, text-to-speech synthesis, and other AI-powered effects.
– Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in AI and video editing, continuously exploring new software and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of video production processes.
– Provide creative input and suggest innovative ideas to elevate the overall video content and storytelling.
– Collaborate with graphic designers, animators, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and seamless integration of AI elements within videos.
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– Maintain organized and efficient project files, adhering to best practices for version control and asset management.

Software Understanding:
Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe After Effects
Final Cut Pro X
Corel VideoStudio
Blender (also used for 3D animation)
Camtasia
Synthesia (for AI-driven video generation)
Doodle (for AI-powered animation and video creation)

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in video editing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience in video editing within the education sector or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong creative and artistic skills with the ability to transform raw footage into visually compelling content.
• Knowledge of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and sound design.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with content creators, scriptwriters, and other team members.
• Ability to manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
• A passion for storytelling through video and a commitment to enhancing the educational experience through visual content.
