Are you a skilled and creative video editor looking for exciting opportunities in the world of social media content creation? We have a fantastic opportunity for you! We are seeking a Virtual Video Editor to assist in editing short clips from our podcast episodes to be used on our Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube channels.
Responsibilities:
– Edit short video clips (typically less than 1 minute) from podcast episodes to create engaging and attention-grabbing content for social media platforms.
– Incorporate relevant graphics, subtitles, and other visual elements to enhance the videos.
– Ensure the video content aligns with our brand’s style and messaging.
– Collaborate with Chris Arslan to understand their vision and requirements for each clip.
– Communicate with Chris Arslan over Discord to discuss project details, feedback, and any necessary revisions.
– Utilize Google Drive to share and access video files for efficient collaboration.
– Organize and manage media assets to ensure smooth and efficient editing processes.
– Deliver high-quality edited videos within specified deadlines.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in video editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
– A strong portfolio showcasing your previous video editing work, preferably including content created for social media platforms.
– Proficient in using graphics and animation to create visually appealing videos.
– Ability to understand and adapt to our brand’s style and aesthetic.
– Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the final videos.
– Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with content creators over Discord.
– Familiarity with Google Drive for seamless sharing and storage of video files.
– Time management skills to meet tight deadlines and deliver results promptly.
– Familiarity with social media trends and best practices for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
– Must have access to a reliable computer and video editing software.
Payment and Terms:
– Compensation: $2 per approved video clip that meets our quality standards.
– Payment will be made weekly, with a one-week lag to account for the previous week’s work.
– No cap on the number of clips you can create and get paid for.
– Payment will be facilitated through Wise or another agreed-upon payment platform.
