Job Description:

Edit videos to ensure they are engaging, cohesive, and free of unnecessary filler words or content.
Add b-roll, images, and text overlays to enhance the visual appeal of the videos.
Ensure that all edited videos align with the brand’s voice and style.
Collaborate with the content team to understand the vision and requirements for each video.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Video Editor.
Proficiency in video editing software.
Ability to follow instructions closely and provide drafts that reflect the company’s vision.
Strong attention to detail, especially in removing filler words and unnecessary content.
Ability to add creative visual effects, b-roll, and other enhancements to improve video quality.
Positive attitude and willingness to receive and act on feedback.

Application Process:

Initial Test: As part of the application process, you will be required to edit a sample video to demonstrate your skills and understanding of our requirements. This test will help us gauge your ability to follow instructions, your creativity, and your overall fit for the role. (Note: Applicants who are shortlisted based on their test submissions will be compensated for their work.)

Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview to discuss their experience, understand their approach to video editing, and determine cultural fit.

Compensation:

Budgeted at $5 per video. Compensation is later negotiable based on experience and quality of work.
