Seeking a Creative Video Editor

Type of Employment:** Part-Time (With potential to move to Full-Time)

**Job Description:**
We are a dynamic and growing company looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for storytelling through video content, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to produce high-quality videos that engage our Click to view but not limited to educational content, promotional videos, and social media clips.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,CapCut or similar software, ensuring all videos meet our quality and brand standards.
– Collaborate with the content team to understand project objectives and audience, making creative decisions to enhance viewer engagement.
– Incorporate special effects, transitions, and animations to enhance storytelling.
– Optimize and render videos for various platforms, ensuring technical specifications are met.
– Provide input on video production, including shot selection, theme, and pacing.
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and providing regular updates on progress.

**Skills and Qualifications:**
– Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing your work.
– Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, cap cut).
– Strong understanding of post-production processes, including audio editing and color correction.
– Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on tight deadlines.
– Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
– Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
– A minimum of 1 year of experience in video editing.
– Comfortable working with a remote team and using communication tools such as Slack.

**Wage/Salary:** $7 or higher / per hour (Negotiable based on experience and portfolio)

**Hours:** 20 hours per week, with flexibility based on project needs.
