Position Summary:
Vidsnax Video Editors gather digital assets directly and via software and edit videos for content creator partners to be optimized for Facebook’s video platform.

Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Social Media Platforms: Understanding of the technical specifications, formats, and best practices for video content on various social media platforms.
Edit processed or edited videos to enhance their engagement, focusing on refining the content to captivate the audience more effectively.
Edit raw footage into polished videos, prioritizing high-quality visuals, smooth transitions, and storytelling that flows seamlessly.
Edit and produce video content optimized for social media, considering aspects such as video length, aspect ratio, captions, and engagement techniques to maximize reach and interaction.
Storytelling: Enhance storytelling through editing techniques such as pacing, rhythm, and visual composition, while maintaining the integrity of the director’s vision.
Feedback: Provide and receive constructive feedback from team members to improve the overall quality of the final product and foster a collaborative work environment.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions to challenges during the editing process.
Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver completed videos on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
Regular monitoring of Calendar Invites and attending weekly meetings.
Qualifications:

Knowledge of professional audio and video editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.
Creative Skills: Strong creative and artistic abilities to enhance storytelling through editing, including proficiency in pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling techniques
Proficiency in Video Editing Software: Mastery of video editing software such as Capcut, or Filmora.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality video and audio editing, sound design, and visual effects if necessary.
Collaboration Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with social media managers, and other team members to achieve the desired objectives for each video project.
Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies related to video editing.
Basic organizational skills for files and amid the editing pipeline (video conversion skills are a bonus!)
Working knowledge of Facebook Creator Studio, Dropbox, Slack, AI editing tools such as ChatGPT and InVideoAI is a PLUS
Must be willing to learn and be trained.
Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
