Job Description:
is a short-form content generating agency seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our production team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing short-form and occasional long-form videos for a variety of projects. This is a full-time position with ample opportunities for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit videos using CapCut PRO and Canva, with a strong understanding of layering techniques.
Create engaging and visually appealing content by incorporating graphics, icons, stock video, etc.
Work with provided thumbnail templates in Canva or .PSD (Photoshop).
Ensure strong English language proficiency with a focus on grammar and spelling for captioning purposes.
Stay updated on social media trends and insights to incorporate relevant elements into videos.
Organize files efficiently and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrate a sense of humor and storytelling perspective in video editing.
Utilize audio sound effects to enhance and emphasize key points in videos.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of video editing experience as a hobby or profession, with proof of previous projects.
Proficient in CapCut PRO and Canva.
Strong understanding of layering techniques.
Excellent English language skills.
Knowledge of social media trends and insights.
Familiarity with organizing files and maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Stable internet connection and a computer capable of efficient video editing.
