As our Video Editor you will play a pivotal role in bringing our clients’ stories to life through captivating and high-quality video content. Your primary focus will be editing videos for marketing campaigns and Facebook ads, ensuring they align with our clients’ branding, objectives, and the latest trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media marketing, be proficient in creating compelling captions, and possess a deep understanding of the evolving video landscape.

Responsibilities
– Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand the client’s marketing objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines for each project.
– Edit and enhance raw video footage into engaging, professional-quality videos for marketing campaigns and Facebook ads.
– Incorporate visual effects, transitions, graphics, and animations to enhance the storytelling and visual impact of the videos.
– Craft compelling captions and text overlays that align with the client’s messaging, effectively communicate the intended information, and resonate with the target audience.
– Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, industry trends, and social media platform guidelines to ensure videos are optimized for maximum engagement and reach.
– Collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to align video content with broader marketing strategies and campaign goals.
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and the quality of work is maintained throughout.
– Continuously seek opportunities to improve video editing processes, streamline workflows, and enhance the efficiency of the creative team.

Requirements
– Proven experience 2 years as a Video Editor, preferably in a marketing agency or similar environment.
– Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in video editing and a variety of editing styles, including marketing campaigns and social media ads.
– Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
– In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their video specifications, and best practices for optimizing videos for maximum engagement and reach.
– Excellent understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition principles to create compelling narratives.
– Ability to create engaging captions and text overlays that capture attention and effectively communicate the desired message.
– Strong eye for detail, including color correction, audio editing, and video quality optimization.
– Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and animation is a plus.
– Understanding of marketing principles and the ability to align video content with marketing strategies and campaign goals.
– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
– Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
