Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, storytelling, and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of video editing. Additionally, the ability to create accurate captions for videos is essential.

Key Responsibilities
– Review and edit raw video footage to produce high-quality video content that aligns with the company’s brand and vision.
– Understanding social media style short-form videos
– Incorporate graphics, animations, special effects, and music to enhance the visual and auditory appeal of videos.
– Ensure accurate captioning of videos for accessibility and to meet company standards.
– Collaborate closely with content creators, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to meet their video editing requirements.
– Provide recommendations and creative ideas to improve video content.
– Maintain an organized archive of video assets.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in video editing.
– Ensure all projects are completed within specified deadlines.
– Adhere to company guidelines, standards, and style.

Qualifications
1. A minimum of 2 years of professional video editing experience.
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar.
3. Demonstrable experience with captioning videos.
4. Strong sense of pacing, timing, and a keen eye for detail.
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. A portfolio or reel showcasing previous editing work.
