Video Editor

I am a videographer & photographer looking for a FULL TIME, skilled, and experienced video editor to join me, as part of my team. I am in the process of transitioning from a one-man band/freelancer to a creative agency model.

You will be responsible for editing and enhancing raw video footage, to create engaging Instagram reels and professional videos for my clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Strong understanding of video editing software and techniques
– Edit a minimum of 6-10 Instagram reels per week
– To edit a variety of content but mainly Instagram reels
– To be available for communication between 09:00 AM-11:00 AM UK time
– All captions, colours, fonts, etc. will need to be in line with the client’s branding
– Utilise b-roll, stock footage, animations/motion graphics, overlays, images, custom captions, sound effects, and music to enhance videos
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

SKILLS REQUIRED
– Proficiency in at least one of the following Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro
– Proficiency in COLOUR GRADING and experience working with SLOG3
– Ability to enhance Audio (Adobe Podcast Speech Enhancer is fine)
– Ability to create Instagram cover graphic images (for Instagram grid)
– Experience editing videos for Instagram and websites (framing perfectly for all formats)
– Strong attention to detail
– Excellent communication and organisational skills
– Ability to work under tight deadlines
– Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
