Video Editor

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating short form content for social media platforms, with a particular focus on producing engaging reels from long form podcasts. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in integrating motion graphics to enhance the visual appeal of our content.

Responsibilities:

Edit and produce high-quality short form video content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Transform long form podcasts into engaging reels, ensuring that key points and highlights are effectively communicated in a concise and captivating manner.
Conceptualize and create motion graphics to enhance the visual appeal of our video content.
Collaborate closely with our content team to ensure alignment with branding and messaging guidelines.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video editing, social media, and motion graphics to continually improve our content strategy.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating short form content for social media platforms.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of motion graphics principles and experience using software such as Adobe After Effects.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards while working under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and feedback.
A passion for storytelling and creating engaging content that resonates with our audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in film, media production, or a related field.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a digital media or content creation role.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance and optimize content strategy.
Experience with audio editing and sound design is a plus.
