The Video Editor is a supporting position on the marketing team for PureLife Organics Inc. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing our videos on our social platforms primarily related to ad creation and secondarily for social distribution. This position is highly creative in nature and requires a significant understanding of how to use video to tell stories and engage the end user.
This is a full-time position that requires working closely with our CEO and the marketing team to establish project timelines and anticipated completion dates on time.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
**Create videos that are part of a marketing campaign designed to drive traffic and conversions for specific offers
**Show competency in videography principles from scripting through final editing
**Be proficient at turning talking head videos into engaging animated videos using graphics, motion graphics and b-roll.
**Be well versed in using J-cut, L-Cut and Jump cut
**Be proficient in typography, color, composition and correction, stabilization, compositing, key framing, and title design in order to improve raw footage
**Artistic and suitable use of transitions, graphic elements, background music, sound effects, dolly zooms and other effects
**Solid understanding how to utilize emerging AI tools related to audio, video and captioning to leverage time and enhance the final products
**Ability to work with a team directly in edit sessions to assess needs and meet project requirements.
**Properly maintain a digital archive
**Possess a strong attention to detail and time management skills, and be an organized team player
**Have experience working in a fast-paced environment on weekly deadlines
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
**Analyzing view metrics to improve engagement and click throughs
**Play a highly collaborative creative role in structuring new ideas and managing post-production projects to completion
**Create and produce marketing videos and PR videos, as needed
**Sourcing photos, stock video and audio as needed for projects
**Edit and upload footage and maintain video logs and media storage
**Use videolytics to analyze effectiveness of media, with the intent to optimize and improve retention and conversions
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
**3+ years of video production experience using software such as Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects, FCP and/or Davinci Resolve
**Experience with remote team tools like Time Doctor, Slack, Trello, Google Suite, LastPass, Skype and Zoom
**Excellent English skills, and able to communicate well both verbally and in writing
TECH REQUIREMENTS:
**Computer – at least i5 or equivalent with 12-16gb RAM
**Internet Speed – At least 50 MBPS Download speed
