Video Editor

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic team on a freelance basis, with the potential to become a full-time member. The ideal candidate will specialize in creating engaging Video Sales Letters (VSLs) by integrating stock content from our provided library and AI-generated avatars to enhance the narrative. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about storytelling through video and skilled in aligning visual content with audio narratives.

Responsibilities:
– Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
Utilize stock video content from a provided library to compile and clip together sequences according to the text audio/voiceover narrative.
– Integrate AI-generated avatar videos over specific parts of the VSL, especially in segments where stock content is unavailable or inadequate, to add a human touch to the narrative.
– Ensure the final video aligns with the script and audio cues, such as adding the AI avatar saying “As a result” when indicated by the voiceover.
– Collaborate closely with the production team to understand the project requirements and deliver videos that meet or exceed expectations.
– Adjust videos according to feedback to ensure the final product meets the company’s quality standards.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing your ability to work with stock content and synchronize video with audio narratives.
– Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
– Experience with AI tools and technologies for video editing is highly desirable.
– Ability to understand and interpret storyboards and audio cues effectively.
– Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
– Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
