About Us:
Wild & Curious is a wild video production company dedicated to helping people, communities and the earth though video content. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Virtual Video Editor to join our team remotely.
Responsibilities:
Utilize basic Adobe Premiere editing skills to edit content for various platforms, including YouTube channels, brand content, and pay-per-click ads.
Take ownership of the initial steps in production, including cleaning b-roll footage and selecting narrative elements.
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality video content.
Adhere to tight, reasonable deadlines and communicate effectively with the team on a daily basis.
Other duties as assigned to support the video production process.
Requirements:
Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere editing software.
Entry-level experience in video editing or related field.
No degree is necessary; we value skills and passion over formal education.
Excellent English language skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
Availability for 10 hours per week initially, with potential for increased hours over time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with other video editing software or tools.
Experience with tasks such as video distribution, SEO optimization, or other aspects of video production.
