Video Editor using Davinci Resolve (Part-time) – Social Media & Corporate Videos

Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Video Editor for phase-1 editing; responsible for creating rough-cuts and initial timelines for short social media content, podcasts, YouTube tutorials, and corporate videos. We are ONLY considering candidates proficient in using DaVinci Resolve software. You will NOT be editing in any other software like Premier or Final Cut, please do not apply if you are not able or willing to work on Davinci Resolve.

This is a part-time position with an average of 20 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
– Create initial timelines, music beat-match, speed-ramp, social media cuts, and use B-roll creatively to produce videos for social media and corporate purposes.
– Part of phase-1 of editing workflow, working in Black Magic Cloud collaboratively with other editors, dynamic workflow is essential for quick turnaround and approval of projects.
– Ability to understand client requirements for each video, use filmmaking concepts to create a story for each timeline.

Note: This is a part-time position with a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week. Paying $360 to $400 /month based on skillset and experience. There will also be opportunities to take on separate and additional one-off contracts/gigs as required.
