Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and experienced video editor to join our team. As a video editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for various purposes. The ideal candidate must have proficient video editing software skills, a strong internet connection to edit and upload large video files to the cloud, and the ability to handle a high volume of work, with the expectation of editing up to 100 hours of long form recordings per week.

Responsibilities:
> Trim, cut, and rearrange footage to ensure seamless and smooth transitions.
> Incorporate visual effects, transitions, and audio elements to produce high-quality video content.
> Edit and enhance raw footage to create visually appealing and engaging videos.
> Add text overlays, captions, and graphics as required to enhance the video content.
> Ensure videos meet technical requirements and are optimized for various platforms and formats.
> Review and select the best shots, sequences, and angles to create a cohesive story or message.
> Adjust color grading and audio levels to achieve the desired visual and auditory impact.
> Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary revisions.
> Maintain clear communication and update project statuses regularly.
> Collaborate closely to understand the vision and objectives for each video project.
> Manage and organize video assets, including file naming conventions, storage, and backups.
> Maintain a consistent and efficient workflow to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:
> Proven experience as a video editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative abilities.
> Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other industry-standard tools.
> Strong internet connection to ensure smooth editing and uploading of large video files to the cloud.
> Ability to handle a high volume of work, with the expectation of editing up to 100 videos per week.
> Excellent understanding of video production principles and techniques.
> Knowledge of visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing is a plus.
> Familiarity with color grading, audio editing, and sound design.
> Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
> Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
> Excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret and implement feedback.
> Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
> Familiarity with different video formats and optimization techniques for various platforms (web, social media, etc.).
> Knowledge of video compression and file formats for efficient delivery and distribution.
> Must be available for 1 hour per day during ET hours.
