Job Description:
As Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos that captivate our audience. You will work closely with our content creators and other team members to ensure our videos are polished, professional, and align with our brand’s vision.

Responsibilities:

– Edit raw footage into compelling, audience-friendly videos.
– Add graphics, text, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality.
– Collaborate with content creators to ensure the final product meets the desired vision.
– Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube, including thumbnails and metadata.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and techniques.
– Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

– Must work 9am-6pm Pacific Standard Time
– Proven experience as a video editor, preferably for YouTube content.
– Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
– Strong understanding of YouTube’s platform and best practices.
– Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience with motion graphics.
– Knowledge of color grading and sound design.
– Familiarity with analytics and SEO.
– A portfolio of previous work showcasing your editing skills.
