Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and possess strong technical skills in editing software. They will collaborate closely with our production team to bring projects to life, from raw footage to polished final product. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage to create compelling and engaging content for various platforms including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Trim and assemble footage, add music, sound effects, and transitions to enhance the video’s impact.
• Ensure continuity and seamless flow between scenes by carefully reviewing and adjusting edits.
• Experiment with different editing techniques and styles to find the most suitable approach for each project.
• Incorporate client feedback and make revisions as necessary to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new editing technologies to continually improve skills and workflows.
• Maintain organized file management and adhere to company standards for naming conventions and project organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling and innovative ideas.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in film production, media studies, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
