We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team at House of Her. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence through visually compelling and engaging video content. You will collaborate with our marketing and content creation teams to produce high-quality videos that resonate with our target audience and reflect the values of House of Her.

Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with the brand identity of House of Her.
Ensure the overall flow, rhythm, and visual appeal of videos meet the highest standards.
Work closely with the content creation team to understand the vision and objectives of each video project.
Collaborate on the conceptualization and development of video content that communicates our coaching philosophy and resonates with our audience.
Review and ensure the technical quality of all video content, including resolution, sound, and color grading.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously strive to improve video production techniques.
Uphold and enforce brand guidelines in all video content to maintain a consistent and professional visual identity for House of Her.
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
Proficiency in video editing software, such as Vimeo, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of current trends in video production and editing.
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working on projects related to life coaching, personal development, or related industries is a plus.
