Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to produce high-quality video content for our website and YouTube channel. This role requires a creative and technically skilled individual who can produce engaging and professionally polished videos, similar to the style seen on websites like Melissa Wood Health and JoinForm. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, expert knowledge of video editing software, and a passion for wellness and fitness content.

Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
Create engaging and visually appealing video content for workout routines, podcast episodes, and promotional clips.
Work closely with our content team to understand the specific needs for each video, including the style, pace, and storyboard.
Apply creative editing techniques to enhance viewer engagement and ensure brand consistency across all media outputs.
Manage video library and ensure all content is organized and easily accessible.
Collaborate with other team members to integrate special effects or other visual and audio enhancements.
Handle multiple projects from inception to completion under tight deadlines.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of work in digital content (experience in fitness/wellness industry preferred).
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Excellent understanding of digital cinematography and editing principles.
Strong attention to detail, sense of timing, and story pacing.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Good communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
Passion for wellness, fitness, and empowering women through media.

Video Editing Expertise:
Proficient in advanced video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Experienced in editing various types of video content, including instructional, promotional, and narrative videos.
Graphic Design and Animation:
Basic to moderate skills in graphic design and animation to enhance video content visually.
Familiarity with software like Adobe After Effects or Motion for adding visual effects.
Sound Editing:
Ability to manage and improve audio quality, including syncing voice overs, adding sound effects, and ensuring clear audio for all videos.
SEO and YouTube Optimization:
Knowledge of SEO best practices for videos, including understanding how to optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags to maximize reach on YouTube and Google.

Strong sense of how to craft a narrative or instructional content that is engaging and retains viewer interest.
Ability to translate your wellness brand’s ethos into compelling video content that resonates with your audience.
Visual Aesthetics:
Good eye for visual composition and aesthetics to ensure that all video content aligns with your brand’s style and image.
Organizational Skills:
Content Management:
Experience in managing content calendars and scheduling uploads to ensure a consistent flow of content.
Capable of maintaining organized archives of all video assets.
Project Management:
Ability to handle multiple projects from inception to completion, adhere to deadlines, and coordinate with other team members or departments as necessary.
