Job Description

We’re a US-based agency on the lookout for a skilled Video Editor to join our team. We need someone passionate about storytelling through visuals and proficient in video editing software. As our Video Editor, you’ll collaborate closely with our creative team to craft engaging video content tailored for various platforms, enhancing the narratives of our diverse clients.

Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage to produce high-quality and compelling videos that align with the brand’s vision and objectives.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm, develop, and execute innovative video concepts.
Use video editing software and tools proficiently to enhance video quality, add effects, transitions, and audio elements.
Ensure timely delivery of finished videos, meeting both internal and client-established deadlines.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video editing and production.
Transform long-form videos into tailored short-form video reels optimized for social media platforms.
Responsible for editing videos for a variety of clients, requiring flexibility and excellent organizational skills

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role showcasing a portfolio of previous work.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and various delivery platforms.
Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute innovative video ideas.
Excellent time management skills with the capacity to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of social media trends and experience in creating content tailored for different platforms is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
Adaptability to different styles and preferences while ensuring each project is completed efficiently and meets the client’s expectations

Working Hours:
PH Graveyard Shift (8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/week)

Compensation:
Starts at: $3/hr
Evaluation and Opportunity for a Salary Raise every 4 months from start date.
