Video editor and animator

We are looking for a talented video editor and animator to join our creative team. We want to hear from you if you have the skills to weave magic into videos and breathe life into animations!

Position: Full-time (40 hrs/week) video editor and animator

Here are examples of the type of animation and videos you’ll create

Schedule & location: Work full time from home on a flexible schedule in your timezone.

Responsibilities:

* Edit raw video footage into long-form and short-form compelling visual narratives.
* Use your creativity to produce eye-catching short-form promo videos from longer-form educational videos
* Design and animate 2D/3D graphics to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
* Create animated voiceover videos showing concepts and info from illustrated infographic images, similar to the above examples
* Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other team members to ensure the seamless integration of video and animated elements.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining quality.

Essential requirements:

* Proven experience in video editing and animation (portfolio or reel required).
* Proficiency in industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Cinema 4D, or equivalent.
* Strong storytelling skills with an eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
* Ability to translate creative ideas into visually stunning videos and animations.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Commitment to continuous learning and growth in a fast-paced industry.
* Ability to work independently.

Desirable
* Work on or access to a Mac computer
