Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join our team as a Video Editor and Content Scheduler. This role involves editing longer videos to extract impactful quotes and snippets for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will have experience with video editing tools, preferably Camtasia but not required and be proficient in managing content schedules. Additionally, familiarity with transcription platforms such as TEMI is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Video Editing: Take long form videos (10 to 60 minutes) and identify key quotes, passages, and snippets for repurposing video clips on social media platforms.
Edit and enhance video content to optimize for various social media channels.
Ensure that all content is engaging, on-brand, and aligns with our communication strategy.

Content Scheduling:

Develop and maintain a content calendar for social media platforms with a combination of videos and text quotes.
Schedule edited videos on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok for optimal reach and engagement.
Monitor social media analytics to identify trends and adjust content strategy accordingly.

Transcription and Blog Support:

Utilize transcription platforms such as TEMI to transcribe content from longer videos.
Forward transcriptions to the editing team for blog creation.
Collaborate with the editing team to ensure consistency in messaging across different content formats.
Collaboration with Marketing Team:
Work closely with the marketing team to align video content with overall marketing goals.
Collaborate on creative strategies for maximizing the impact of video content across various platforms.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure the accuracy of transcriptions and edited content.
Review and implement feedback from team members to continuously improve video content.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in video editing with proficiency in Camtasia or similar tools.
Familiarity with social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Experience with content scheduling and social media analytics.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with transcription platforms such as TEMI is a plus.
