Position Overview:
– The Jake Anthoney Youtube Channel is seeking a talented Video Editor and Animator to join the team.
– The ideal candidate should have a strong background in digital video editing, possess creative storytelling skills, collaborate effectively with team members, and consistently meet deadlines.
– Mastery in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a must.
What you will do:
– Edit, rough, and fine cuts in Adobe Premiere Pro, and create motion designs ensuring timely delivery.
– Collaborate closely with the producer to align the creative vision and deliverables.
– Seamlessly integrate various assets, such as animations, archival clips, and shot footage, to create cohesive edits.
– Enhance video quality through creative sound design and mixing.
– Select images for thumbnails and social media content.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in editing digital content.
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere and After Effects.
– Demonstrated editorial judgment and strong visual aesthetics.
– Sound design skills and the ability to perform color correction.
– Exceptional attention to detail and project organisation.
– Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and explore new approaches.
– Passion for storytelling and journalism.
