Video Editor and Graphic Designer

Hannah Akintoye Law, PLLC is a Washington, D.C. criminal defense and injury law firm. We are seeking an experienced video editor and graphic designer to work with our current marketing team for up to 10 hours/week.

We are looking for someone who is interested in having a long-term relationship with our firm. This is a remote position, and requires a 6-month minimum commitment.

Objective and General Duties- The goal of the video editor and graphic designer will be to help the firm with:
• Creating and editing YouTube Videos
• Creating and editing Reels and TikTok videos
• Adding captions to all videos
• Creating Digital products and lead magnets
• Creating digital workbooks for webinars
• Creating social media posts
• Creating social media banners
• Updating various graphics for the business
• Conducting market research on topics for upcoming videos
• Researching trending sounds for Reels and TikTok videos in line with brand style

Skills required of the video editor and graphic designer are:

• Excellent English, writing, and grammar skills
• Must have an understanding of direct response marketing
• Advanced Photoshop and photo editing skills
• Ability to conduct market research, keyword research, and competitor analysis
• Advanced copywriting skills

Required experience and tools:

• Minimum education of a bachelor’s degree
• 2 years minimum experience as a video editor and graphic designer
• Access to a computer with video conferencing capabilities, secure wifi, and fast RAM
• Detail-oriented, and frequently checks work to avoid mistakes and typos

Compensation:
• The rate of pay for this position starts at $6 USD/hour. There is a 6-month minimum commitment required. You will be evaluated regularly, and at the end of the 6 months, if your performance is exceptional, our goal is to offer a more permanent or long term position with the law firm.

We will provide a nominal payment to you to compensate you for your time. The compensation will be provided via PayPal.
