We are now looking for a talented Social Content Creator and Video Editor to enhance our digital presence and drive our social media strategy.

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in editing long-form videos for YouTube, creating Instagram reels and images, editing ad videos, and a strong understanding of color grading, audio control, and transitions. Familiarity with tech and gaming computer components is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
– YouTube Video Editing: Edit 1-2 long-form videos for YouTube each week using Davinci Resolve. If using another editing program, ensure XML file exports are ideal.
– Instagram Reels Creation: Create Instagram reels by repurposing previous videos from the channel initially, then producing new reels from current long-form videos once the backlog is addressed.
– Ad Video Editing: Edit ad videos as needed, typically 60-second spots. This could vary from once a month to several times a month or not at all in some months.
– Still Image Extraction: Pull 10 still images from video files per video, optimized and sized for Instagram posts.
Instagram Content Creation: Create Instagram images and reels that correspond with the videos.
– Color Grading: Apply strong color grading techniques to enhance video quality.
– Graph and Table Animation: Create and animate graphs and tables to be included in videos.
– Audio Control: Ensure high-quality audio control throughout the editing process.
– Transition Skills: Apply strong transition skills to ensure smooth and engaging video flow.

Qualifications
– Proficiency in Davinci Resolve is ideal and preferred. Experience with other editing programs is acceptable if XML file exports are compatible.
– Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
– Strong understanding of color grading, audio control, and transitions.
– Ability to create engaging Instagram reels and images from video content.
– Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
– Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred but Not Required:
Familiarity with tech and gaming computer components is a plus.
