Video Editor and Virtual Assistant

I am looking for a talented reliable person to be my video editor and overall virtual assistant.

The right person will be someone who can work efficiently and quickly in whatever video editing suite you are most comfortable with. I’m looking for someone who thinks creatively and doesn’t need to be micro-managed too closely.

In addition to video editing you would also handle some basic management of my social media accounts, so a basic understanding of platforms like TikTok and YouTube and FaceBook will be needed. I’m looking for someone who has a thorough understanding of the “culture” on those platforms. (What type content works well there… a good grasp of current trends, etc)

As a general virtual assistant you will also do some other tasks that will take things off my plate and free up more of my time. Things like some basic website updating and management. Nothing too complex on that. Just some very basic management, but a basic understanding of WordPress would be helpful.

There will also be a few other things you’ll be asked to help with from time to time. Some basic understanding of tools like Canva, ChatGPT / Gemini and Google Sheets will also be helpful. But I’m willing to train you to do some of those things after you are hired if you really talented at the video editing aspects of the job.

I have some flexibility regarding which hours you would work each day. But I would like for you to work 6 hours per day Monday – Friday. And 4 hours on Saturday for a total of 40 hours / week.

The position will pay a guaranteed $480 per month ($120 paid weekly). But you will have the opportunity to receive additional bonuses and incentives if you prove to be a good fit and valuable asset to my business.

The right teammate MUST be reliable, self-motivated, efficient, honest, energetic, positive and creative.

As applications come in, I might ask some of the most promising applicants to submit “test projects” as a way to see who would be the best fit for the position. If you are asked to do this you will be paid for your time to create these test projects.

Dependable and reasonably fast internet connection will be needed for this position.

I have hired quite a few Filipino teammates over the years and almost all of them have been great experiences.
