Video Editor at Venture Outbound

Location: Remote
Position: Part-Time with the possibility of transitioning to Full-Time
Pay: $500/month part-time with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $150 in monthly bonuses based on performance. Full-time transition would start at $700/month.

Venture Outbound LLC specializes in creating diverse video content, ranging from wedding films to travel and vlog content. We Are Looking For:
A skilled and creative video editor ready to tackle a variety of projects with enthusiasm and professionalism. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a remote work environment, is responsive, and can manage deadlines effectively. Technical proficiency in editing 4K footage and a robust setup capable of handling large files are essential.

Responsibilities:
Editing a wide range of video content, ensuring each project meets our quality standards and creative direction.
Collaborating closely with the team via Slack, our primary communication tool.
Managing projects and deadlines using Trello.
Uploading and downloading files via Dropbox, with the ability to set up automatic sync.

Technical Requirements:
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant editing software.
Capable computer setup with at least 16GB RAM and 1-2TB of storage space for editing 4K footage.

Hiring Process:
Application Submission: Interested candidates should submit their resume, a cover letter, and a link to their portfolio showcasing their best work.

Initial Screening: Selected candidates will be asked to provide additional information, including computer specifications and internet speed, to ensure they meet our technical requirements.

Training and Quizzes: Shortlisted candidates will undergo 1 hour of mandatory training covering essential tools and workflows. This training will be followed by quizzes on the material to assess understanding and readiness for practical tasks.

Video Editing Test: Candidates who successfully complete the training and quizzes will then be given a video editing test. This test involves editing three different kinds of content to assess creativity, technical skills, and adaptability. The test projects will include:
– A recruitment video using interview footage.
– A social media promo to entice viewers to an event.
– A content piece requiring green screen editing for social media, focusing on viral engagement.

Interview: Candidates who excel in the video editing test will proceed to an interview focusing on technical skills, team dynamics, understanding of the role, and overall fit for Venture Outbound LLC.
Final Selection: The successful candidate will be notified and onboarded.
