Job Description:
As a Video Editor at our digital marketing agency, your role will be crucial in creating captivating and effective video content for our clients’ B2B/B2C campaigns. You will be responsible for reviewing the project brief, collaborating with stakeholders, and editing videos to ensure they are ready for publication across various platforms. Your expertise in video editing software and creative storytelling will play a key role in enhancing brand messaging and driving engagement.
Responsibilities:
Review project briefs: Carefully analyze project briefs provided by clients, understanding their objectives, target audience, brand guidelines, and desired outcomes.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Engage in consultations with clients, account managers, creative directors, and other team members to discuss the scope, goals, and vision for each video project.
Video editing: Utilize industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to edit raw footage into compelling videos. This includes cutting and trimming footage, adding transitions, applying visual effects, color grading, audio editing, and ensuring seamless flow and pacing.
Storytelling and messaging: Craft a compelling narrative using the available footage, incorporating the brand’s messaging, values, and unique selling points. Develop creative approaches to engage the target audience and effectively convey the desired message.
Brand consistency: Maintain brand consistency throughout the video by adhering to the brand guidelines provided by clients. Ensure that the video aligns with the brand’s visual identity, tone, and style.
Quality control: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the final video meets the required standards in terms of visual appeal, audio clarity, and overall production quality. Make necessary adjustments and revisions based on feedback from stakeholders.
Timely delivery: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and delivering high-quality videos within the specified deadlines.
Stay updated with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, techniques, and tools in video editing and motion graphics. Continuously expand your skill set to enhance the quality and effectiveness of video content produced by the agency.
Requirements:
Proficiency in video editing software: Expertise in using industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Ability to edit videos efficiently and effectively, incorporating visual effects, transitions, and other elements as required.
Creative storytelling: Strong storytelling skills with the ability to transform raw footage into engaging narratives that effectively communicate the brand’s message and resonate with the target audience.
Technical skills: In-depth knowledge of video editing techniques, color correction, audio editing, and post-production processes. Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure video quality, smooth transitions, and consistent branding throughout the editing process.
Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, account managers, and creative teams. Ability to understand and incorporate feedback into the editing process.

Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your previous work in video editing, highlighting your creative and technical skills. Strong consideration will be given to candidates who can demonstrate their ability to deliver impactful video content.
