Video Editor/Content Creator for Travel Instagram Reels (Remote) – Collaborate with Digital Nomad Nic Laprade

Job Summary:
I’m Nic Laprade, a 24-year-old digital nomad, inviting a talented Video Editor/Content Creator to join me in crafting engaging Instagram Reels. This role is an exciting opportunity to transform footage from my travels, starting with Colombia and soon in Guatemala, into captivating short videos. If you have a flair for storytelling, a good ear for music, and a passion for travel, this project is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Create 3-5 Instagram Reels, each 5-20 seconds in length, potentially longer based on content.
Incorporate diverse footage, including drone and GoPro videos, to produce dynamic content.
Manage multiple projects efficiently, adapting to varying travel content.
Communicate effectively in English to discuss project requirements and feedback.
Qualifications:

Proven ability in video editing, with a portfolio showcasing short-form content, including work with drone and GoPro footage.
A good understanding of the digital nomad lifestyle, able to connect with a young, adventurous audience.
Proficiency in conversational English for clear communication.
Creativity and adaptability in content creation, bringing fresh ideas to each project.
Bonus Qualification:

Experience in social media growth, particularly in enhancing an Instagram presence.
Compensation:

Project-based, to be discussed and determined based on the scope of all three videos. We aim to offer competitive rates reflective of experience and skill level.
