Video Editor – Documentary

We are seeking a talented and experienced YouTube Video Editor to join our team and contribute to our faceless YouTube channel. As a video editor, you will be responsible for assembling raw footage, audio, and graphics into high-quality videos that align with our channel’s style and tone. You will work closely with the narrator and collaborate with the creative team to ensure a seamless video production process.

Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage, audio, and graphics to create engaging and visually appealing videos.
Incorporate the provided clips, script, and narration into a cohesive final product.
Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and easy retrieval.
Enhance video quality through color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects as necessary.
Ensure videos meet technical specifications and adhere to the channel’s branding guidelines.
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop ideas for video content.
Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor, preferably with a portfolio of previous work.
Proficiency in using popular video editing software, including but not limited to:
Adobe Premiere Pro
Final Cut Pro
DaVinci Resolve
Sony Vegas Pro
iMovie
Capcut

Familiarity with video editing techniques, transitions, effects, and color grading.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A passion for YouTube content creation and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
Ability to replicate the quality and style of the provided video examples.
