Video Editor (event, corporate and eLearning)

We area Melbourne Based video production company looking to a part-time video editor (2 Days per week, every Wednesday and Thursday) who will be responsible for creating and editing high quality video content for a range of digital platforms, including social media, websites and e-learning platforms.

The majority of our work includes the use of interview footage that is used to tell a story throughout the video, so applicants must have strong english skills. Some examples of the content we create can be found at Click to view

Key Responsibilities:
– Edit and assemble raw video footage (Proxies) into a polished final product using Adobe Premiere Pro.
– Work with the design team to ensure video content is visually engaging and aligned with the client’s brand.
– Insert captions on video content via Premiere Pro for accessibility reasons.
– Incorporate motion graphics, sound effects, and music into video content to enhance the overall production value.
– Manage and organize video files and projects to ensure that they are easily accessible and maintain a high level of quality.

Qualifications:
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
– A strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills in video editing and production.
– Be open to learning new skills
– Speaking up when you are unsure of anything
– Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
– Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and colour correction.
– Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications such as After Effects and Photoshop is a plus.
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in film, video production, or a related field is preferred.
– Self motivated, disciplined, methodical and passionate

This video editing role is 2 Days per week, every Wednesday and Thursday, 8am start. Full time hours may be available in the future.
