Job Title: Part-Time Video Editor

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and refining raw video footage into polished final products that align with our clients’ objectives and vision. Your role will involve cutting and arranging footage, selecting appropriate audio components, color grading, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality videos within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
– Edit and assemble raw video footage into a polished final product, ensuring it is engaging, visually appealing, and aligned with the client’s objectives and vision.
– Cut, splice, and arrange footage to create sequences that effectively convey a story or message.
– Select appropriate music, sound effects, and other audio components to enhance the video’s impact and emotion.
– Color grade footage to achieve a consistent look and feel across the entire video.
– Collaborate with management and stakeholders to ensure video content meets project requirements and objectives.
– Review and revise video edits based on feedback from clients or stakeholders.
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest editing techniques, software, and technologies to continuously improve the quality of work.
– Archive and manage video files and assets for future use.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
– Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other industry-standard tools.
– Strong understanding of video editing principles, techniques, and best practices.
– Creative mindset with the ability to tell stories through visual content.
– Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
– Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
– Strong communication skills to effectively understand and execute client requirements.
– A portfolio or sample of previous video editing work is highly preferred.
