Video Editor for Advertising SaaS Startup

We are an Amazon Advertising SaaS company that helps sellers manage and automate their advertising campaigns on Amazon. We are seeking a freelance video editor who can work on a part-time basis, with the potential for the role to expand based on experience and as responsibilities grow.

### Software Tools We Use

– Notion
– Figma
– Google Workspace (Drive)
– Adobe After Effects
– Adobe Premiere

### Responsibilities

– Create short-form videos from long-form content for use on social media platforms
– Edit software demo videos to showcase key features and benefits
– Produce tutorial videos for onboarding and customer support
– Create animated explainer videos to communicate complex concepts and processes
– Produce video ads for use in online advertising campaigns
– Generate closed captions, subtitles, and transcripts for videos to improve accessibility
– Develop a consistent visual style for all video content by following brand design guidelines and collaborating with the design team.
– Manage and organize a large library of video and graphic assets, including raw footage, b-roll, and final edits
– Edit audio tracks to ensure clear sound quality and balance with visual elements
– Provide constructive feedback to team members and collaborate on video projects to ensure high-quality output

### Requirements

– Proficiency in video editing and motion graphics software Adobe After Effects and Premiere
– Knowledge of color grading and color correction techniques
– Ability to create engaging, short-form videos optimized for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube
– Knowledge of closed captioning, transcripts, and subtitle creation for improved accessibility
– Ability to collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align video content with company goals and branding
– Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition and Pro Tools
– Ability to manage and organize large libraries of video assets

### Preferred Skills & Experience

– Producing tutorial and explainer videos for other software companies
– Utilizing AI tools for improved efficiency and output
– Creating essential graphics for use in Premiere
– Experience using our software tools listed above

### Compensation

– $10/hr+, negotiable based on skills and experience
