This job post is for a start up YouTube Channel with a niche on Business, Finance and Lifestyle. Our team is in need of a talented and experienced video editor who has great technical skills and creativity in story telling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Receive footage from us via Google Drive;
* Edit clips with head talking style and from multiple angles.
* Edit an engaging video by adding in necessary elements such as sounds, text, infographics, transitions, panning, and stock footage;
* Upload edited videos on Google Drive for posting;
* Collaborate with the team on the direction, edits, and projects;
* Contribute to brainstorming meetings and the development of new ideas;
* Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information; and
* Report to the team leader if any issues arise and communicate effectively with the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Creative and proficient in digital storytelling and image composition;
* Attentive and has an eye for detail and accuracy;
* Reliable, with high integrity and a strong work ethic;
* Has the ability to prioritize and manage delegated tasks effectively;
* Able to work as part of a team and is not afraid to speak up, recommend improvements, and bring up issues to the upper management/team leader; and
* Experienced in using trello and whatsapp for communication.
PLEASE NOTE:
* Editors are expected to be able to produce at most 2 YouTube Contents per week. Please make sure you are able to commit this much before sending in your application.
* This is a task based job opportunity so there will be no time trackers and you shall be paid per output basis with a starting offer of $50 per video.
