Video Editor for Course & YouTube Videos

I’m looking for an experienced video editor with fluent English who can do smooth clean edits for my online course videos, and if those go well potentially we can also move on to editing YouTube videos. I’m looking to build a long-term working relationship with this editor — I will have a lot of videos to edit over the next few years!

I’m looking for someone who has prior editing experience with professional clients and can edit reasonably fast. It is particularly important that you can cleanly edit out bad takes and awkward pauses, sometimes crafting smooth sentences from choppy speaking in the recording. This means you will need to have excellent English skills to properly craft natural English sentences in the edit.

You should be able to do basic text and motion graphics from templates, as well as basic neutral color grading with good skin tones. Must be able to add music, clean up audio (remove background hiss or humm), and make the videos look professional.

Bonus points if you have added b-roll and music and/or motion graphic text).

Please also list what video editing and/or audio software you prefer as well as any other editing software you are familiar with (so list what you are best at using, but also anything else you have experience using). In particular, I’m interested in knowing if you have experience with Adobe Premiere, Davnici Resolve, and/or Descript.
