Job Description

We are a real estate brokerage on the East Coast of the US looking for a Video Editor. We are looking for someone that has experience with editing long form videos for youtube and short form videos for tik tok, instagram reels, and youtube shorts

* Editing videos (overlaying text / labels on videos, combining multiple video clips, and trimming videos) for instagram, tiktok, and youtube
* Knowing the
* Creating youtube thumbnails
* Ability to add stock photos, images, and stock videos as b roll to our videos
* Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
* Understanding and applying video trends and hashtags to videos to broaden our reach and help get more views
* Creating a backlog of content that can be scheduled to be posted automatically on a schedule
* Ability to quickly turn around video edits
* Ability to take several minutes of raw footage (like drone videos) and edit it together to be a professional and seemless video

This will be a part time job that will probably be 10 – 20 hours per week to start with the opportunity to grow hours over time. We are investing heavily in the video space and need someone with expertise to help us edit and publish high quality content

About You:
Your English should be excellent. You have experience creating instagram, tiktok, and youtube videos for different social media accounts. We are not looking to train people that do not have design experience as we need someone that can come in and immediately start creating designs and assets.

Our team is growing so we are looking to double down on our brand and ability to get content (especially video content) onto the different platforms. Our goal is to be the highest rated brokerage in New England and we gauge our success based on the number of sales that result in a 5 star review from our clients.

As part of our interview process we will be screening for ability to speak and write english, experience as a Video Editor, and how you complete the projects that will be provided. The projects are to verify that you will be able to complete the type of work we typically have at the highest level of quality we are looking for. Our clients and audience is expecting only the best product so we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team.

2. What is your experience with youtube, instagram, and tiktok and have you made content for those different platforms?

We are willing to pay up to $5 to $7 per hour depending on experience and the overall quality of the editing and work produced. More skilled people will be paid appropriately as we are looking for a senior person that can come in and immediately have an impact on our business.
