Video Editor for Reels (EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

We are looking for a talented and highly skilled Video Editor for reels to provide exceptional and innovative video editing skills.

To ensure success as the reel video editor, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize concepts and work according to a strict time schedule. Ultimately, a top-notch reel editor can perfectly translate a client’s idea into a beautifully crafted reel piece, worthy of posting.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday can be between 7AM to 7PM UK time depending on the task on hand.

Job Description:
• Accomplish 15 to 20 edits per month.
• Create lifestyle-based and motivational b-rolls.
• Responsible in putting subtitles (blue font) to the final video edit.
• Trim footage segments and combine the sequences of the video
• Make an overall reel brand messaging strategy
• Prepare rough and final cuts for the reel
• Input effects, graphics, dialogues and music into the videos to make them more visually appealing
• Insert music and necessary sound effects to the video clips

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a video editor for reels
• Solid experience with different digital technology and editing software
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Laptop or desktop that is at least I5, or I5 equivalent and above.
• Strong internet connection with backup internet available.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
