Video Editor for Short Form Content | Part-to-Full Time | Long Term

If so, we’re looking for you. We’re currently seeking to add a few talented and experienced video editors to be a part of our growing team. Check out the details below.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Edit 25-40 second short form videos by combining various clips of content together
– Required to edit minimum 2 videos per day, but you can choose to edit more
– Find and download content from social media platforms
– Adjust audio for voice overs and music
– Correct misspellings and punctuations for text captions
– Upload videos to our cloud storage
– Post updates in our project management software
– Send end of week updates by email summarizing work accomplished

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

– Proven experience in editing short form videos for social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
– Experience with editing software Final Cut is preferred.
– Keen ability to identify content that matches sentences spoken in voiceovers and arrange them together effectively.
– Proficient in both reading and writing in English.
– Able to respond to messages with the team to communicate quickly in a fast paced production environment.
– Required Traits: Good communicator, strong work ethic, detail oriented, honest, reliable, team player, self-motivated, resilient, resourceful, and manages their time effectively.

WORK SCHEDULE AND PAY:

– Part-to-Full time: Must be able to edit a minimum of 2 videos per day, Monday through Friday (you can choose to work weekends if you wish). Videos are short, between 25-40 seconds. Depending on your experience and editing ability, each video can take 1-3 hours to complete editing. You can choose to edit as many videos as you want, as long as the minimum requirement of 2 videos per day is met.
– Pay is $5 USD per completed video edit. The more videos you edit, the more you earn. You could earn a minimum of $300, and up to $800+ a month depending on the number of videos you edit.
– Eligible for bonuses, time-off, and 13 month pay depending on performance and tenure.
– Wage payments are paid through Payoneer.
– Must be willing to submit a trial run edit where you edit a video according to our requirements.
